Our aim is to expose island visitors to the true spirit of Aloha through custom tours, epic excursions, nature adventures, and cinematic photo services. Our passion is not only to show you the beauty of our island home and the secluded spots we grew up frequenting, but also to impart the life lessons of the historical past and the natural present that make Hawaii so unique and special. Too many tour companies in Hawaii offer an artificial island experience. The meaning of
Aloha Exposure…
“Aloha” is much more than a local Hawaiian greeting; it is a way of life. It is how we care for others and the space that we are in. It is a worldview where love is demonstrated in care, respect, empathy, and reverence to all that is sacred. Here in Hawaii, we believe that both the people and the land are sacred, for both came from the hands of the Creator who made all things for His good pleasure. When we greet each other with Aloha, we are acknowledging and sharing the love and respect due to all of God’s creation.
“Exposure” is “the state of being exposed to contact with something”. In photographic terms, it is the action of being filled with light. When the aperture of a camera is opened, light floods in to freeze a moment in time. Once the moment is captured, it is somewhat immortalized. It becomes a permanent medium to inspire multitudes for all time. This is the wonder of creative photography and videography.
The goal of “Aloha Exposure” is to expose visiting guests to the light of true aloha that permeates our Hawaiian home, not the artificial “aloha” that has been commercialized by foreigners who care only for profit and exploitation. Aloha Exposure allows you to experience the true spirit of Aloha that is seen and felt through the land and its native people. As we capture the experience through cinematic photography and videography, it is our hope that Aloha will live on thorough the memories, inspiring people around the world with the beauty and culture of this sacred place.
Aloha Exposure is a locally owned and operated small business that specializes in epic island excursion tours, nature adventures, and creative photography and videography services. All photographers and tour guides are born and raised in Hawaii or have fully embraced the aloha culture and have a deep respect for the land and people of Hawaii. There are too many foreign companies profiting from the exploitation of Hawaiian lands and island culture without giving back to local communities. We are proud of our island culture and feel that it is our sacred obligation to do all we can to preserve and protect these sacred lands while at the same time sharing their wonder and beauty with visitors. For this reason, 10% of all profits will be donated to local communities who are committed to the protection and preservation of Hawaii’s natural resources and the proliferation of the true spirit of Aloha.
